"Selfies" at the cinema-- it's too much!

Yesterday, I went to the cinemas with friends. Food, drinks, bonding, laughs, teases, occasional "grump moments" (as we like to call it). What a wonderful thing it is to have friends, genuine ones, where you can share some of your questions. Nothing to serious unless you consider "social propriety" to be serious.

Anyway, enough jokes, we live in an age of technology because obviously you are reading this. Again, enough jokes, we live today, in a time where a term "selfie" was icon'ed and popularize by a celebrity(probably).

The definition of "selfie" is basically, you take a device that has a camera in it and you take portrait (close up) shots of yourself. Various locations, various apparels and of course on occasion with friends. What I thought before as just taking a photo has now become a "selfie".

Evidently, taking a group photo of you and your friends can now be or is considered a "selfie". Now as much as I not impress with how capitalism is glamorizing or shall we shall, "turn profit", with something so simple.

Anyway, it worked. I do not know how who started this whole "selfie" concept but I for one, am not against it. The issue I have with "selfie" only surfaced yesterday night.

As we watched the movie, late into the film, a group of people started taking photos of themselves in the dark with a strong flash!

I mean, for the love of decency, why on earth would you even take a photo or "selfie" of yourself in the cinemas? Why? Who on earth does that? Why on earth would they do that? You are not even suppose to have cameras in cinemas.

Here is my issue with "selfie", taking a photo of yourself, with friends, families, pets, loved ones and so on are fine but please, do take them appropriately.

Let us have awareness, even decency to do things in an appropriate manner.

PS: maybe if the flash was not blinding me, maybe, I could have let it go! It was like, you know, a car's headlights at high. You are practically blind!

Also a couple of video-tutorials. Still trying to find how to condense the information so that it will be easy for you to follow and you will learn something new.
